CONCORD — A 28-year-old Manchester man was sentenced in federal court to eight years in prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Scott W. Murray announced.

Police arrested Daniel Irving Sept. 19, 2018 afte encountering him and another person in a vehicle near a Concord convenience store and finding more than 70 grams of methamphetamine, two guns and drug paraphernalia including a glass mirror, digital scale, a ledger, syringes and plastic baggies in the vehicle.

Irving pleaded guilty on July 1.
