MANCHESTER — A 27-year-old city man was stabbed in the back early Thursday at Lake Avenue and Union Street, police said.
Police said it does not appear to have been a random attack.
Officers were called to the intersection about 2 a.m. where they found the victim with a puncture wound to the back that did not appear life-threatening. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
According to a news release, the attacker is described as a black or Hispanic male who drove away in a minivan.
