NASHUA — Nashua police recently arrested a local man, charging him with assaulting his father.

Joshua Wolfe, 29, faces one charge of second-degree assault — domestic violence, a Class B felony that carries up to 7 years in state prison.

An investigation began Dec. 10 when officers received a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred at a downtown location.

Wolfe’s father told officers he suffered a broken ankle during a physical altercation with his son in early October, officials said.

Detectives investigated the matter and obtained an arrest warrant for Wolfe, taking him into custody on Thursday at 10:45 p.m.

Wolfe was released on personal recognizance pending his arraignment on Jan. 17 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
