NASHUA — A city man was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with reckless conduct after police said he fired metal pellets from an air gun into a neighbor’s apartment.

The charge is a Class B felony, police said.

Officers were called about 6 p.m. to 5 Casco Drive for a report of shots fired. Alex Costello, 28, lives in Apartment F at the address, police said.

According to a police news release, Costello is accused of firing the pellets from an air gun through the wall of his apartment into a neighbor’s home, which was occupied at the time. No one was injured, police said.

Costello is being held without bail pending arraignment Thursday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South, police said.
