MERRIMACK — A Nashua man was charged with reckless driving and resisting arrest after being pulled over for driving more than 100 mph on the Everett Turnpike, police said Sunday.

Nicholas McMaster, 26, of 4 Knights Bridge Drive in Nashua, was arrested after police stopped him around 1:30 a.m. Saturday when an officer clocked him driving 104 mph, police said in a news release.

McMaster was arrested on a charge of reckless driving and a brief struggle ensued as he was being taken into custody, according to the news release. He was also charged with resisting arrest/detention, polcie said.

McMaster was released on personal-recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in 9th Circuit Court on Aug. 22, police said.
