NASHUA — A Nashua man was arrested over the weekend after police say he threatened two people with a cutting tool as they walked to their car in a parking lot Saturday night.

According to Nashua police, around 9:40 p.m. Saturday officers arrested John Wilcox, 47, of 32 Willow St., Apartment A, in Nashua on charges of criminal threatening, Class B Felony.

According to police, a Nashua officer reported seeing a man brandishing a cutting tool and threatening two people as they walked to their vehicle in the Pearson Avenue parking lot. The man, later identified as Wilcox was taken into custody. Police said Wilcox was not known to the other parties, and the incident was random. No one was injured, according to police.

Wilcox was arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Monday.
