NASHUA — A 31-year-old city man was arrested Monday morning on a felony domestic violence charge, police said.
Officers arrested Sean McCullough on a charge of second-degree assault — domestic violence, a Class B felony.
According to a news release, police were called to a residence about 6:05 a.m., where a woman told them McCullough had assaulted and strangled her until her breathing was impeded. She suffered minor injuries, police said.
McCullough was arrested about 6:30 a.m., the release said. He refused bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Tuesday.
