Manchester police officials said this unidentified man broke into DEKA Corp. earlier this month and stole electronic items.

MANCHESTER — City police released photos Tuesday hoping for the public’s help identifying who broke into DEKA Corp. earlier this month and stole electronics.

The thief broke into 286 Commercial St. technology firm owned by Dean Kamen between 6 p.m. on Jan. 1 and 5 p.m. the following day.

Police believe the burglar broke a first-floor window to get inside and then stole items valued at less than $1,500 in total.

The thief left the area on a bicycle, police said.

The burglar wore blue jeans, a gray-hooded sweatshirt, a black backpack, red or pink gloves and sneakers that appeared to be blue and white or black and white.

Det. Brian O’Leary is investigating. Anyone with information can call Manchester Police Detective Division at 792-5500 or the Manchester Police Crimeline at 624-4040 and reference MPD Case #19-00053.
