GRAFTON — The Attorney General’s office said an autopsy performed on remains found in Grafton has identified the deceased as a woman missing since June 2018.
Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Col. Christopher J. Wagner said an autopsy performed by New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner Jennie Duval identified the deceased as Trish Haynes, 26, of North Woodstock. The manner of death was homicide.
Haynes was reported missing last year. A native of Stuart, Fla., Haynes resettled in North Woodstock and was last seen in the Grafton/Danbury area in May or June of 2018. Since then, authorities have been investigating the circumstances of her disappearance.
Authorities said the circumstances that led to Haynes’s death remain under investigation. Anyone with information about Haynes is asked to contact the New Hampshire State Police at 223-4381.
