Manchester prostitution arrests

MANCHESTER — Six people were arrested Tuesday during a prostitution sweep in the center city, police said.

The arrests, in the area between Beach and Lincoln streets and Manchester and Laurel streets, were made between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., police said. One woman and five men face prostitution and related charges.

Stephanie Drusendahl, 30, no fixed address, was charged with prostitution about 8:30 a.m. at Beech and Manchester streets after police said she offered sexual favors to a plainclothes detective in exchange for money.

At 10:30 a.m., police arrested Hasan Saadeh, 26, of Manchester, near Lincoln and Merrimack streets after police said he solicited sexual favors from a plainclothes detective.

About 11 a.m., George Muszynski, 68, of Manchester, was arrested and charged after he allegedly solicited a plainclothes officer as she walked on the sidewalk at Lincoln and Merrimack streets.

William Short, 72, of Northfield, was arrested and charged about 2:30 p.m., police said, after he offered cash for sex to a plainclothes officer at Lincoln and Merrimack streets.

A plainclothes officer arrested Bruce Allaire Jr., 39, of Manchester, about 2:55 p.m. in the area of Merrimack and Lincoln streets, charging him after he allegedly offered her cash for sex, police said.

At 3:10 p.m., Patrick Cronin, 68, of Manchester, was charged near Laurel and Merrimack streets after allegedly offering to pay a plainclothes officer for sex.

All six were released on personal recognizance and are scheduled to appear Feb. 8 in Manchester Circuit Court, according to police.
