ROCHESTER – A Nottingham woman has been arrested for her alleged involvement in an armed robbery at George & Ed’s General Store in Rochester.

Lana Markson, 30, turned herself in Wednesday and has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, a Class A felony.

Police allege she and 30-year-old Anthony Driscoll worked together to commit the Dec. 26 robbery where he used what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol to intimidate a store clerk before reaching over the counter and taking money from the register.

Capt. Jason Thomas said Markson allegedly agreed to commit the crime and was in the store just minutes before the robbery took place.

Markson was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at Strafford County Superior Court in Dover Jan. 31.

Driscoll was arrested at an apartment on Linwood Avenue in Derry on Monday. He was arraigned Tuesday and is being held on no bail at Strafford County House of Corrections in Dover, according to a booking official at the jail.
