MERRIMACK - A routine traffic stop netted a Massachusetts woman driving without a license and in possession of drugs, according to police.
Lane violations in the area of Continental Boulevard about 8:30 Sunday evening preceeded the traffic stop, they said.
The driver, Jennifer Blanchette, 37, of 41 Walnut St., Belmont, Mass., was found to have a suspended Massachusetts license.
On further investigation, Blanchette was found to be in possession of controlled drugs without prescriptions and she was taken into custody.
Blanchette is charged with operating after suspension and two counts of possession of a controlled drug. She was released on personal recognizance bond and scheduled to appear April 18 Hillsborough South Superior Court - South in Nashua.
Blanchette was processed at the Merrimack Police Department and released on personal recognizance bail. Blanchette is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough South Superior Court in Nashua on April 18, 2019, to answer to the charges.
