Pappas joins bipartisan bill to increase access to capital to rural businesses

"Small businesses, and the entrepreneurs behind them, are the backbone of the South Texas economy," Cuellar said in a press release. "Rural economies like ours face unique challenges, including a lack of access to capital."

That's why Cuellar said he introduced the bill.

"Job creation remains a priority of mine in Congress; this Act will ensure we continue to create good-paying jobs across the 28th District of Texas.

Cuellar and co-sponsors are now urging the Senate to pass this legislation to help rural entrepreneurs with the resources necessary to succeed.
