PELHAM — Services are set to resume Sunday at the New England Pentecostal Ministries on Bridge Street. Police will be guarding the church, according to a post on the church’s website.
“During this time we understand there are a number of questions and concerns, and our goal is to remain on one accord,” the post reads. “Thank you for your continued prayers as we heal from the recent events.”
The church has been closed in the week since Bishop Stanley Choate and Claire McMullen were shot during McMullen’s wedding to Mark Castiglione on Oct. 12. Police have charged Dale Holloway, 37, with the shooting. If convicted, he could face life in prison for the attempted murder of Choate.
Holloway is the stepson of the late pastor Luis Garcia, who was killed in Londonderry on Oct. 1. Garcia’s funeral had been scheduled for Oct. 12, just after the wedding.
