Robert Daly, 49, dead following Bedford crash

Robert Daly, 49, of Bedford died Wednesday at a Boston hospital following a single-vehicle crash Monday evening on Route 114. 

BEDFORD — A 49-year-old local man has died from injuries he suffered in an automobile crash Monday night on Route 114.

Robert Daly died Wednesday at a Boston hospital, two days after he was found unresponsive, according to police.

The accident occurred about 7 p.m. Monday in the southbound lane of Route 114 just north of White Avenue.

According to police, Daly was driving a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder when he struck a guardrail. Daly was taken to a local hospital with injuries described as life-threatening before being transported to a Boston hospital where he later died.
