MANCHESTER — A 2-year-old boy is unharmed after falling from a second-story window Sunday morning.

District Chief Al Poulin of the Manchester Fire Department said the toddler pushed a box fan through a screen and out a window. The boy tumbled after the fan, fell two stories and landed on the pavement outside the Manchester Street home. The boy’s mother brought him to the Elliot Hospital, which Poulin said is less than 2 minutes from the home.

In June, another child fell from a second-story window at a different house on Manchester Street, and was also unhurt. But a 3-year-old girl who fell from a third-floor window on Thornton Street in August was seriously hurt, and had to be taken by helicopter to a Boston hospital for treatment.
