HUDSON — Local police said they investigated a potential threat at Hudson Memorial School that came in via social media Thursday night and determined it to be unfounded.
Police officials took to social media themselves just after 9 p.m. to report their investigation was complete and that there was "no threat" in relation to social media posts that they reviewed.
"The matter originated with an inquiry for an unrelated incident in a different jurisdiction," Hudson police officials said in a statement.
Officials credited parents and students for cooperating with the probe and helping police resolve the matter.
"Everyone is encouraged to remain vigilant and if you see something, say something. Stay Safe!" police officials concluded.
Located at 1 Memorial Dr., Hudson Memorial School has students from the sixth through eight grades.
