MANCHESTER — State officials are warning commuters to expect delays on Interstate 293 southbound near Interstate 93, as a long-term lane closure goes into effect just in time for the Monday morning commute.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced the I-293 southbound onramp to I-93 southbound will be reduced to one lane starting Monday, Sept. 16
The lane reduction is part of the $46 million ongoing renovation and widening efforts along I-293 near exits 5 and 6.
The lane reduction is expected to continue on Oct. 18 and traffic delays are expected. Commuters are advised to plan accordingly, and avoid the area if possible.
