ROCHESTER — A Maine man was arrested Thursday morning after police accused him of causing a three-vehicle crash while driving under the influence.
Jayden Parlin, 20, of Lebanon, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said he crossed a double yellow line in a Kia Rio to pass a Dodge Durango driven by Justina Ridley of Rochester, and collided with it.
Parlin then drove into a Toyota Corolla driven by David Murphy of Springvale, Maine, according to police.
Emergency crews were called to Highland Street near Eastern Avenue at 6:33 a.m. Nobody involved was taken to the hospital, police said.
In addition to a misdemeanor DWI charge, Parlin was cited for reckless driving, following too closely and highway markings, according to a news release.
Police ask anyone with information about the crash to call them at 330-7128.
