PORTSMOUTH — Police in Portsmouth are warning people that they may hear blank gun rounds and see multiple emergency vehicles in the area of the National Visa Center and National Passport Center during an upcoming training exercise.
The full-scale exercise may include people with mock injuries, police said in a press release.
During the event, several roads around Pease International Tradeport will be closed.
These include International Drive between Oak Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue, as well as Rochester Avenue between Somersworth Avenue and Lee Street.
The exercise is planned for Thursday, Sept. 19, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
