CONCORD -- The state Department of Corrections is looking for a woman who did not return to the North End Transitional Housing Unit on Wednesday evening.
Summer Cook, 41, is described as a white transgender woman, 5’8”, 179 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a scar on her chin and left cheek.
She did not return to the transitional housing unit as scheduled Wednesday evening, and has been placed on "escape" status. Cook had been serving time for a 2014 reckless conduct charge. Her minimum parole date was April 11, 2018, with a current maximum release date of April 9, 2024.
