Eversource presented a donation to Holiday Cards 4 Our Military last Thursday at Eversource Energy Park in Manchester, to be used for postage to send notes overseas to deployed service members.

“We want to help expand the reach of this event every year and are looking forward to writing as many messages of support for our service members as we can over the next several months,” Davis said. This year, Eversource has extended participation in the challenge to its employees in Massachusetts and Connecticut, with the goal of writing 2,500 cards to help HC4OM achieve its 2019 goal of 10,000 cards for each of the five branches of the military — a total of 50,000.“To be truly supported by the Eversource community is both humbling and inspiring,” said Landerman-Garber. “Having the opportunity to speak with both active duty military and veteran employees and guests today spoke volumes about the level of support the company offers to our military men and women. The Veterans Business Resource Group and employees from three New England states will sign thousands of cards for our deployed troops. It just does not get better than that. I feel honored to partner with them and I promise each card will travel the world to reach our warriors,” she said.
