BEDFORD — Sixteen brave local veterans and a Gold Star Mother will transition from fatigues to fabulous fashion at the third annual Beyond the Boots Fashion Show.

The event takes place at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford on Tuesday, March 26, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The fashion show starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature fashions from local vendors.

Guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction.

The night will honor veteran Tony Matos, who owns the Bedford business Altos.

Matos graduated from West Point and served six years in the Army on active duty and four years in the Army Reserve as a logistics officer. In 2003, Matos founded Altos, then a search engine marketing consultancy in Londonderry. Now located in Bedford, Altos is a digital agency helping companies in various industries to grow by leveraging digital marketing strategies.

The event is presented by Manchester’s Envy Sports Club & Café and McIntyre Ski Area.

Proceeds benefit Veterans Count. Tickets cost $40 a person and can be bought at vetscount.org/nh.
