MANCHESTER — On Friday, Dec. 13, The Way Home is excited to “host” the “Pay to Stay at Home Pajama Gala,” a special “non-event” fundraiser through which participants can support a great cause while enjoying a relaxing evening at home with family and friends.
“The typical charity gala can involve a dinner and more formal wear,” said Bianka Beaudoin, CEO of The Way Home. “We’re switching it up a bit with our Pajama Gala where supporters of our agency can donate from the comfort of their homes. They don’t have to worry about dressing up, finding a place to park and then going to an event. And donors can be assured that all the dollars raised go directly to our cause without the overhead of an event. Looking to get involved, you can sponsor, donate an item, and/or NOT attend the biggest event of the year!
“For more than three decades, our mission has been to help those in need secure and keep safe, affordable housing. Hundreds of NH residents literally don’t have a roof over their heads. This event is a way for those of us (who) have a place to live to be thankful for what we have and support others.”
Beaudoin added that participants in the event are also encouraged to post photos on social media and use the hashtags #TWH #PajamaGala. She said those who post and share will be entered into raffles throughout the day.
Those interested can go to thewayhomenh.org to donate.
Since 1988, The Way Home has assisted more than 22,000 homeless and high-risk families, individuals, veterans and special needs clients with their housing needs.
