Streets were snow-covered and deserted in Manchester at dawn in November 2019. Manchester schools are closed today due to extreme cold.

The Manchester School District closed schools Tuesday as extreme cold temperatures hit the Granite State. No after school activities will take place.

Daytime temperatures Tuesday were expected to be 9 degrees, with wind chills making it feel like 20 to 25 below zero in the Manchester area, according to the National Weather Service.
