Brewery Lights

A holiday tree lighting opens this year’s Brewery Lights celebration at 6 p.m. Friday at Anheuser-Busch Biergarten and Tour Center in Merrimack.

MERRIMACK — Tom Jokerst, general manager of the the Anheuser-Busch Beirgarten and Tour Center, will flip the switch on the fourth annual Brewery Lights celebration at 6 p.m. Friday.

The brewery is going for even more lights this year: 250,000.

Plus there will be some new activities, including a Candy Cane Maze with a light tunnel synchronized to holiday tunes and complementary 3-D glasses to take in the sights.

There also will be a new Kid’s Zone featuring face painting and craft projects inside a heated tent.

Brewery Lights will be open every Thursday and Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. and every Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. through Dec. 29.

Visitors can visit and warm up at the family-friendly Gingerbread House, where food and drink items are available around the fire pits.

Also new this season at Anheuser-Busch’s property, there will be VIP packages to four glowing igloos. Group ticket price is $550,which includes entry, food, beverages and sweets.

The brewery is located at 221 Daniel Webster Highway. Event parking is $5 in advance or $10 at the gate.
