The Annual Hampton Beach Children’s Festival washes ashore Monday, Aug. 11, when entertainment will include the B.J. Hickman Magic Show, Dan Grady’s Marvelous Marionettes, miniature golf and a movie under the stars.
Festivities continue Tuesday, Aug. 12, with magician Fran Flynn, Loris Burbine in “Alice in Wonderland” and comedian Malik.
A dance party with Pam Valli will be followed by “Cirque du Solo” with Linda Peck on Wednesday, Aug. 13, and a fireworks display will cap the day’s events.
The lineup on Thursday, Aug. 14, will include Vic & Sticks — Recycled Rhythm Band, All Hands Drumming with Tony Fonseca, roaming magic shows by Abracadabra Productions and a kite-flying program on the beach.
The culmination of the festival, set this year for Friday, Aug. 15, traditionally centers on a giant costume parade.
Face-painting, ice cream, story-telling and balloon creations also are on the schedule during the five-day celebration.
