Girih’s heavily-textured sound translates to their live performance, boosted by their use of looping and layering techniques on stage.

MANCHESTER — New Hampshire post-rock/instrumental trio Girih will play an album-release show Friday at Bungalow Bar and Grill, 333 Valley St.

The group — Alex Paul, Brian Luttrell and Jeremy Dingman — will play its “Eigengrau” record in its entirety at the Queen City gig.

The album is set for release that same day via dunk!records in the United States and A Thousand Arms in Europe.

“It features an uncanny and intoxicating balance of the driving aggression of post-metal and the graceful melody of post-rock, with just a dash of the fret board wizardry common to math rock,” according to the band’s official bio.

Girih’s latest single and video from that project is “Sinnesolschen.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. The show, also to feature the groups At the Heart of It, Actor/Observer and Harborlights, will start at 8 p.m. Girih will go on at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $13 on the day of the show.
