Giggles going on in 'Laughter on 23rd Floor'

Bedford Off Broadway ups the antics in a production of Neil Simon's comedy "Laughter on the 23rd Floor."

BEDFORD -- Bedford Off Broadway isĀ  having fun with Neil Simon's comedy "Laughter on the 23rd Floor," which was inspired by the playwright's youthful experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar's "Your Show of Shows."

The play is about a harried writing staff scrambling to top each other with gags and earn the attention of star madman Max Prince.

Directed by Joe Pelonzi, performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at Bedford Old Town Hall, 2 Meetinghouse Road, through June 16.
