NEW LONDON — The New London Barn Playhouse, one of the oldest continuously running summer theaters in the country is back again for its 87th summer season.

Having won the 2018 New Hampshire Theatre Award for best professional production for “42nd Street,” the theater company begins its main stage season with the toe-tapping “The Pajama Game,” through June 23.

Sparks are flying at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory, where superintendent Sid Sorokin and union head Babe Williams are at loggerheads over a 7 ½-cent pay increase.

Show times this week are 7:30 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.
