Outside of the Salem area, where he lives and runs his Freshwater Farms business, and Concord, where he is president of the state Senate, Chuck Morse flies under the radar. That will surely change this year as he campaigns for the U.S. Senate. He has our thanks and best wishes. He has done exceedingly well by and for New Hampshire in a key public service role.
In Concord, Morse has led a responsible and sensible Republican senate majority. That’s good because ably filling his role is going to be important if New Hampshire is to continue to succeed. Granite Staters should remember that as Morse pursues a different public role. Message to Granite Staters: Take a few deep breaths. You can get through this.
