When some UNH students became upset with sexual violence on campus, they marched not to the president’s office but to his home.
President James Dean came out to speak with them. His gesture was met with shouts and ridicule.
Now, some of those same students have formed a group and wish to meet formally with Dean. He is OK with that — once the students apologize.
This is unheard of in a time when many school chiefs roll over and grovel at the feet of students and “woke” faculty members who believe they are in charge of all things. It is certainly unusual at UNH.
Some of the students were fit to be tied by President Dean’s old-school manner. They should be — tied that is. Bound and gagged might be good, too.
