To the Editor: One lesson that has come out of the termination of Sue Thomas as girls’ basketball coach at Bedford High School is that crybabies can exist in both genders. It would serve the athletic department, the principal and the parents — as well as the students who staged the boycott — right if the girls’ basketball program at Bedford High School were to be permanently shuttered because efforts to fill the coaching position were unsuccessful. I see that as one of the repercussions to come as a result of the termination of Sue Thomas as coach of girls’ basketball at Bedford High School.
