Convention needed

To the Editor: Regardless of your party or politics we are all Americans. Our federal government is failing to improve the basic quality of our everyday lives. For many a sense of hopelessness, isolation, coupled with $22 trillion of unfunded liabilities and debt, threaten our democratic way of life, our families’ future and national security.

Isolation and hopelessness can force people to act in untraditional — unconventional ways.

The brilliant framers of the U.S. Constitution foresaw this, providing us with a real solution. It’s called Article V : A Convention of States

A national movement is underway to return power back the states, where it all began. It takes a minimum of 35 state legislatures to enact and 13 have signed on. Unfortunately, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont still have not acted.

“We the People” the silent majority must educate ourselves. Then call or write to encourage state legislators to support a national movement to enact Article V: A Convention of States.
