No freedom here
To the Editor: I’ve toured the world as a musician, many times, and I must say the people of New Hampshire are some of my favorite human beings. (They’re probably my favorite people of all 50 states, as well.) And the state is geographically one of my favorite places on earth.
That said, I’ve never ever found any government that was as corrupt and bad-intentioned as New Hampshire’s, and that applies to both Democrats and Republicans, in thousands of categories I can list. (Many other states are far more “free” and make you re-register your car every two years, not every year as a money grab to ruin our quality of life.)
For instance, Sununu and company drove New Hampshire kids to opioids, by making New Hampshire boring and depressing. (The GOP have never been known for making life more fun, have they?)
Hassan also sucked most culture out of New Hampshire, so the young people are fleeing. I love New Hampshire, but I fear I have to move out.
When Massachusetts has less government regulation than New Hampshire (let’s take recreational grass for adults as an obvious example), it’s over. New Hampshire no longer stands for less government bureaucracy. Sununu has promised the MOST government bureaucracy and control over our private lives, of any governor.
Everyone I know wants to flee the anti-freedom state. I also can’t stand how popular tobacco is here. Nowhere else is it this bad. That’s some “leadership”, guys!
