ROCHESTER — Rochester Opera House Productions presents “Mamma Mia,” a musical that uses 1970s supergroup ABBA’s memorable songs to weave a tale of love, laughter and friendship, today through Jan. 27.

The story takes place on a Greek Island paradise, where it’s not all smooth sailing. It’s the eve of her wedding and a young woman is bound and determined to figure out which of three men from her mother’s past is her biological father.

Tickets range from $20 to $26. The theater and box office are located inside Rochester City Hall.

A preview will take place today at 7:30 p.m., with the official opening weekend including performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. For details, call 335-1992 or visit rochesterOperaHouse.com.
