Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart likely will not return until after the All-Star break as he continues to rehabilitate a left calf strain, ESPN reported.

Smart suffered the injury on Jan. 30 in a 96-95 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He has missed the past 11 games, and the Celtics were 5-6 without him entering Sunday afternoon's game against the Pelicans.

Smart, 26, traveled to New Orleans with the team and took part in some light activities, coach Brad Stevens said.

The All-Star break is set for March 5-10. The Celtics have seven more games before the break, including Sunday.

At the time of the injury, Smart was averaging career highs in points (13.1), assists (6.1) and minutes (32.3). He also is the Celtics' top defender and a two-time selection to the NBA All-Defensive first team.
