Ryan Anderson and Hooksett resident Matt Paradis each shot a 3-over-par 75 and were Southern New Hampshire University's top scorers Monday on the opening day of the NCAA Division II men's golf championships at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.Va.

Matt Conti (76), Drew Kane (77) and Garrett Olivar (80) are the other SNHU golfers who competed Monday.

Bentley's Tommy Ethier, a Nashua resident, finished the opening round with a 79. Ethier is a Bishop Guertin graduate.

SNHU stands 17th out of 20 teams at 15 over par. Bentley is 18 at 17 over par.

The tournament concludes Friday. SNHU advanced by winning the Atlantic/East Region.
