Five players scored as the Dartmouth hockey team beat Army 5-2 on Saturday night in the Ledyard Classic at Thompson Arena in Hanover.
Drew O'Connor, Alex Jasiek, Quin Foreman, Carl Hesler and Joey Matthews scored for the Big Green (5-6-1), which will play Providence College tonight at 7 for the tournament title. The No. 10 Friars beat cross-town rival Brown 3-1 in the earlier game on Saturday.
Princeton 90, UNH 42
The UNH women’s basketball team wrapped up the nonconference part of its schedule on Saturday with a loss to Princeton at Lundholm Gym in Durham.
Ashley Storey led the Wildcats (3-10) with 14 points.
Princeton, coached by former Souhegan High and Dartmouth star Courtney Banghart, was led by Bella Alarie’s 18 points.
The Tigers improved to 8-7.
BC 99, Dartmouth 68
Boston College went on a 22-0 second-quarter run and beat Dartmouth in women’s basketball.
Anna Luce set a career high with 19 points, on 9-for-12 shooting, for the Big Green (6-6).
Dartmouth’s Isalys Quinones finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and a career-high seven assists. Cy Lippod added eight assists.
Dartmouth hosts Binghamton on Monday at 2 p.m.
SNHU 82, Mercy 41
In Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Kylie Lorenzen scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Penmen (8-4). Brianna Camara added 14 points.
