Austin DaSilva scored the game’s only goal at the 22:49 mark at the University of Albany men’s soccer team blanked 14th-ranked UNH, 1-0, on Friday night in Albany, N.Y.

Albany won for the ninth time in its last 12 matches, improving to 9-5-1 overall and 4-2 in America East.

UNH lost for the first time this season, slipping to 12-1-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference. The Wildcats will close out the regular season on Wednesday when they will host Vermont in a 7 p.m. match at Wildcat Stadium.

Albany goalkeeper Michael Kennedy made two saves to post the shutout while UNH keeper Alejandro Robles had zero saves.

Back Josh Bauer and midfielder Jacob Mannix each had a shot on net for the Wildcats.
