Saint Anselm College remains undefeated after handing Merrimack a 92-81 men’s basketball defeat in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium on Saturday.

Senior Tim Guers scored 30 points and added nine assists for the Hawks (6-0, 3-0 NE-10). Cody Ball of Londonderry had a 15-point, nine-rebound performance. Merrimack is 5-4, 3-2 NE-10.

SNHU 68, Assumption 53: In Worcerster, Mass., Daquaise Andrews scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Penmen. Charlie Russo added 15.

Keene State 93, Middlebury 88: In Middlebury, Vt., Ty Nichols’ notched 26 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, and a steal to lead the Owls (4-2). James Anozie chipped in 19 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks, while Miguel Prieto had 16 points, four steals and two rebounds.

Plymouth State 90, UMass Dartmouth 86: In Dartmouth, Mass. Joe Simpson of Manchester scored 23 points and dished off five assists. Jaylen LeRoy of Manchester added 19 points and three assists, while Manny Alisandro of Manchester had 12 points, nine rebounds, four steals and three assists.

Emmanuel 94, Rivier 73: In Nashua, Nate Hale of Nashua had 19 to lead the Raiders (1-6). Isaiah Marks and Issaiah Chappell of Sunapee scored 15, and Tarik Rivers totaled 14.Joe Tamburro led all scorers with 31 on 10-of-15 shooting for Emmanuel (4-3).

Women’s basketball

Saint Anselm 60, Merrimack 50: In Goffstown, Sara Messler of Durham scored a career-high 25 points, earning her first career double-double with 10 rebounds for the Hawks. Shannon Ryan scored 10 points and added as many rebounds.

Assumption 76, SNHU 66: In Worcester, Mass., freshman Meghan Cramb, of New Boston and Bishop Guertin High School, led all scorers with 24 points for the host Greyhounds (5-3, 3-2 NE-10).

Kylie Lorenzen led the Penmen (6-2, 2-2 NE-10) with 22 points.

UMass Dartmouth 72, Plymouth State 44: In Dartmouth, Mass., Jess Conant scored a team-high 12 points for the Panthers (5-3, 0-2 Little East).

Worcester State 66, Keene State 58: In Keene, Jasmin Mitchell came off the bench to score a career-high 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting for the Owls.

Hien Thach had 11 points and three rebounds, while Tamra Gonyea chipped in 10 points and three rebounds. Worcester State was led by Kate Surprenant’s 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Stonehill 71, Franklin Pierce 46: In Rindge, freshman forward Izzy Lipinski led the Ravens (1-6, 0-4 NE-10) with a team-high 10 points and five rebounds, one steal and one block.

Men’s hockey

Saint Anselm 4, Southern Maine 2: In Goffstown, Bryan Green had two goals Shawn Moors had three points with a goal and a pair of assists. Freshman Anthony Iacullo scored his first career goal.

Women’s hockey

UNH 4, Merrimack 3, OT: In North Andover, Mass., Taylor Wenczkowski of Rochester scored on a rebound just 28 seconds into the extra period.

Meghara McManus, Nicole Dunbar and Carlee Turner also scored for the Wildcats.

RPI 2, Dartmouth 1: In Hanover, Emily McLaughlin scored her first collegiate goal in Dartmouth’s loss. The Big Green are 3-8-1, 2-5-0 in ECAC Hockey. The Engineers improved to 5-8-4 and 3-3-0.Saint Anselm 2, Bowdoin 1, OT: In Brunswick, Maine, Kathleen LeFebre scored the game-winner with 1:26 remaining in the extra period.

Kaley Campbell scored in the second period to put the Hawks ahead.

Plymouth State 1, Salem State 1: In Plymouth, the Panthers fired 44 shots on goal in their New England Hockey Conference tie.

Taylor Jackson scored for PSU (2-4-2, 2-2-2 league).
