Both Southern New Hampshire University basketball teams prevailed in nonconference games on Sunday.

Shawn Montague scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the men rallied past Post 86-74 in Waterbury, Conn. The Penmen trailed by 11 with 9:21 remaining before coming back to improve to 5-2 overall.

The SNHU women used double-figures scoring from five players to top Bridgeport 82-73 in Manchester.

Jenna Roche (17), Molly Terry (13), Gyanna Russell (11), Karlee Ziliak (11) and Victoria Dean (10) led the way for the Penmen (5-3).

UNH women fall, 67-61

Despite Ashley Storey’s 19 points, the UNH women’s basketball team lost to North Dakota State 67-61 on Sunday in Durham.

Sophomore Ivy Gogolin added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats (2-5).

Manhattan 70, Dartmouth 58: In the Bronx, Anna Luce led the Big Green with 16 points. Annie McKenna added 11 points and eight rebounds as the Big Green (3-1) suffered their first loss this season.
