Manchester's Jalen LeRoy hit a career-high six 3-pointers and finished with 31 points to lead the Plymouth State basketball team past Framingham State 91-85 on Thursday night in Plymouth.

Hudson's Sam Bonney-Liles, a sophomore, hit a clutch 3-pointer down the stretch helping the Panthers (7-4) hold on. The former Alvirne High star finished with 16 points. 

Hamilton 85, Keene State 80: Keene State stayed close, but fell to No. 5 Hamilton in Hamilton, N.Y. Ty Nichols scored 20 points and James Anozie chipped in 19 points and nine rebounds for the Owls (6-5). Hamilton improved to 12-0.

Women's basketball

Saint Anselm 64, Daemen 56: In Amherst, N.Y., the Hawks improved to 9-2 behind Shannon Ryan's career-high 31 points. Peyton Steinman went 12-for-12 from the foul line for Saint Anselm. 

Westfield State 97, Plymouth State 58: In Plymouth, Elizabeth McLaughlin of Melvin Village led the Panthers (5-6) with a season-high 14 points.

UNH's Crookshank honored as Hockey East Rookie of the Month

The honors keep coming for UNH freshman forward Angus Crookshank, who on Thursday was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Month for December.

Crookshank, who has been named the league’s Rookie of the Week twice, notched three goals and four assists as the Wildcats went 3-1-0 in the month.

A freshman from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Crookshank was a plus-6 for the month. For the season, he has five goals and eight assists.

The Wildcat host a pair of contests this weekend, against Merrimack tonight and Yale on Saturday night.
