Hooksett’s Matt Paradis won medalist honors, leading the Southern New Hampshire University men’s golf team to its first NCAA regional title on Saturday in Greensburg, Pa.

Paradis, a senior, shot a 2-over-74 in the final round to win the Atlantic-East Regional crown at Totteridge Golf Club. He won by three strokes, following an opening-round score of 67 and a 70 in round two.

The Penmen’s 899 topped runner-up Bentley University by two strokes.

SNHU will open play in the NCAA National Championships on Monday, May 20 in Daniels, W. Va.
