The Plymouth State men's hockey team scored the game's final three goals and defeated host Framingham State 6-4 on Thursday night in a MASCAC contest.
After falling behind 4-3 early in the third, the Panthers went to work. First, at 2:34, Peter Laviolette, the son of the Nashville Predators coach, scored to tie it. Then Ludvig Steenberg tallied a shorthanded goal at 16:20 to put PSU ahead. Amherst's Quinn Carroll added an insurance goal, on the power play, at 18:45.
Steenberg and Laviolette finished with two goals each. Ryan Stevens also scored for Plymouth State, which improved to 10-5-3 overall, 7-2-2 in the conference.
Plymouth State outshot Framingham State, 61-20. Panthers goalie Andreas Pettersson made 16 saves.
