Sophomore Chris Paul set a career high with 27 points, leading the Saint Anselm College men’s basketball team to a 94-79 victory over the University of Bridgeport on Tuesday afternoon in Bridgeport, Conn.

Senior Tim Guers added 24 points and Londonderry’s Cody Ball scored 12 as the Hawks, ranked fourth nationally in Division II, ran their record to 9-0 overall. Bridgeport dropped to 5-6.

Saint Anselm trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half and lagged by three (40-37) at halftime before going on a 21-8 run early in the second half to take command.

The Hawks have some time off before returning to action on Sunday, Dec. 30 at Franklin Pierce (3:30 p.m.).
