Senior Patrick Sweeney scored four goals and added as many assists to propel Saint Anselm to a 12-10 men’s lacrosse victory over Assumption on Saturday in Goffstown.

Sweeney exited the day with 35 goals and 19 assists for 54 points, setting a single-season high for point scoring. With one more point, he will crack the program’s top-10 list of single-season scorers.

Sean Tomaszewski logged two goals and an assist with Ryan Richards recording two goals. Senior Xavier Quinn of Rye scored the 50th goal of his career, matching a career-high mark with 23 points.

Women’s lacrosse

Plymouth State 19, Eastern Connecticut State 3: In New Hampton, senior Veronyca Daniels of Concord marked her final home match with four goals and two assists. Sydney Dubois of Goffstown and Kimberly Zuccaro each finished with four goals and an assist.

Sarah Thompson of Hooksett added her third hat trick of the year and Sam Fiore finished with a goal and two assists.

Johnson & Wales 15, Colby-Sawyer 6: In New London, Johnson & Wales received seven goals and a pair of assists from the league’s leading scorer, senior Allison Pazienski.

Senior Sierra Schuster of Hopkinton and sophomore Sarah Morin of Pelham had two goals apiece to lead the Chargers.

Pace 19, SNHU 9: In Manchester, seniors Kristin Wilder scored five times for SNHU. Pace’s Emma Rafferty also had five. SNHU junior Merry Harrington was the only other Penmen with multiple points, tallying a goal and an assist.
