Dana Bean of Franklin led Colby-Sawyer with 24 points on Tuesday night.

Franklin's Dana Bean scored 24 points on 10-for-14 shooting to lead the Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team past Norwich 84-64 on Tuesday night in Northfield, Vt.

Bean moved into 14th place on the college's all-time scoring list (1,310 points). He added nine rebounds.

Scott Lampron of Tilton added 10 points for the Chargers (3-1). Norwich is 0-4.

Men's basketball: Dartmouth rolls

Eight players scored in double figures as Dartmouth rolled past Division III Thomas College 108-59 at Leede Arena in Hanover. Dublin's Ian Sistare was one of those players, with 12 points. Dartmouth is 5-1, its best start in 23 years.

Men's basketball: Plymouth State 94, Rivier 63

Dante Rivera scored a game-high 18 points to lead a balance attack in Plymouth State's home win over Rivier. Manchester's Manny Alisandro and Jaylen LeRoy added 10 and nine points, respectively, for the Panthers (3-1). Rivier dropped to 2-3.

Men's basketball: UNH 77, Central Conn. State 63

Forward Jayden Martinez scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Wildcats (3-2) on the road. Central Connecticut is 0-5.

Women's basketball: PSU women top Rivier 

Bella Earle scored 15 points and Jalen Cook added 12 points and nine rebounds, helping the Plymouth State women’s basketball team past Rivier 62-50 night at Foley Gym in Plymouth. The Panthers improved to 2-1.

Rivier’s Cydney Lessard of Auburn led all scorers with 17 points. Rivier is 1-4.

PSU's Emilee Flanagan honored

Milton’s Emilee Flanagan of Plymouth State University was one of eight players selected to the New England Women’s Volleyball Association All-Rookie Team.

Flanagan finished the season with 247 kills while posting the second-highest attack percentage on the team (.26) and leading the Panthers in blocks (103).

PSU finished with a program-tying 32 wins (32-5) and earned a share of the Little East Conference regular-season championship.

Dartmouth's O’Connor is NCAA's First Star

Dartmouth sophomore Drew O’Connor was named the First Star of the Week for men’s hockey on Tuesday by the NCAA.

O’Connor, named the ECAC Player of the Week on Monday, notched three goals and three assists in a pair of victories for the Big Green over the weekend.

Dartmouth is on a two-weekend break for exams and Thanksgiving. The Big Green return to action Friday-Saturday, Dec. 6-7, against Colgate and No. 2 Cornell.
