UNH’s Chris Arling, of Windham, warms up before the Wildcats’ season-opening game against Boston University Durham on Thursday. Arling scored the lone goal in UNH’s 1-0 victory that night, then scored the winner in Monday night's 2-1 victory at Providence College.

After an injury-plagued 2018, Chris Arling is 2-for-2 in game-winning goals for the UNH men's soccer team.

Arling, of Windham, scored at 59:46 to lift the Wildcats past host Providence College 2-1 on Monday night.

A senior forward, Arling scored the only goal in UNH's 1-0 victory over Boston University on opening night last Thursday. His goal on Monday night was assisted by Antonio Colacci.

The Wildcats needed to rally to win. The Friars (1-1) took a 1-0 lead on Trevor Davock's goal at 20:19, but UNH's Donnett Sackie answered at 39:50.

UNH goalie Alejandro Robles made two saves, to one for PC's Austin Aviza.
