Veronyca Daniels of Dover was one of two Plymouth State University women's lacrosse players to be recognized by the Little East Conference on Monday, earning Offensive Player of the Week honors for her performance in a pair of Panthers wins. Joining her is teammate and fellow senior Kimberly Zuccaro of Townsend, Mass., who was named Defensive Player of the Week.

For the week, Daniels tallied 12 points (8 goals, 4 assists) between games against Keene State College and Castleton University and was particularly dominant in PSU's 15-11 win over Keene State, scoring five times while dishing out three assists.

Daniels has been one of the most consistent offensive players in the LEC this year and currently ranks seventh in points (55), ninth in goals (39), and 12th in assists (16), with the 55 points being good enough to surpass the 100-point mark for her career.

As for Zuccaro, the award was her fifth of the season, and she also played well against the Owls, forcing five turnovers while securing three ground balls and two draw controls. Zuccaro is now third in the conference in forced turnovers (34) and fourth in ground balls (53). Like Daniels, she too eclipsed the 100-point threshold earlier this season.
